Non-Member (Guest) Access

The Access 4 Learning Community TM respects your privacy. We do not release any information about non-member (guest) or member access to our public site outside of the A4L Community organization, except when you sign up to attend one of our meetings or participate in our community forum. In that event, we do reserve the right to share your name and organization with the meeting sponsors and attendees.  By registering to attend an event, you are giving us permission to do so.  If you would not like your details to be shared, please Contact Us

However, information you provide us, for example, name, email and organization when downloading specifications or other documents is used for research, and if you request it, to update you on happenings within the Community.

If you choose to participate in our community forums, you agree that you will not use our forums to post any material, or links to any material, which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Further, you agree that you will not post any copyrighted material without the express permission of the copyright holder, unless such copyright is owned by you, in the forum. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate in these Forums.

Note that any message posted on our forums expresses only the views of the author of the message and does not necessarily reflect the views of the A4L Community or any person or entity associated with them. The forums use moderators and administrators to monitor the content and appearance of messages posted in our forums. However, considering the real-time nature of the various forums, it is impossible for us to monitor or review every message. Therefore, you agree that neither these forums, nor any person or entity associated with them, will be held responsible for the contents, accuracy, completeness or validity of any information posted in them.

Participation in the Community forums means that you will abide by forum rules and regulations and adhere to the conditions set forth in each forum. In addition, by participating in the forums, some of your personal information (Your A4L Community Username) and any information you post will be viewable by the public. In the event of any complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you, in the Community forums, the A4L Community reserves the right to reveal your identity and any other information we may know about you.

No identifying data is disclosed to any third party, outside of what is noted above, for any purpose, except where mandated by law. Any information you release will be held securely to the best of our ability.

We will take appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Member Access

We use member-related information for the purposes of administering the A4L Community organization, website(s) and communicating & collaborating with our members.

Members’ interactions with the private site are authenticated. Consequently, we have the capability to identify users and their activities within the site. This information will not be disclosed to any third party for any purpose, except where mandated by law.
